- The rope is a 3/32-inch thick cable made of 7 by 7 thin metallic strings. It is covered by a 1/16-inch
thick PVC material.

- The handle is made of hard wood. The "pulley"-looking piece of the handle is a rotation device which offers a low friction resistance. A 3-inch long screw holds the two wooden components together and allows the "pulley" to rotate freely. Two nylon washers are also used to keep the wooden pieces from coming into contact with each other or with the screw head.
