| This little section is here to tell you about who does what here at the farm, info on our horses, and what kind of care our horses go through to make them the wonderful horses that they are. I, Renee, take care of the horses, this website, the email, and making the long searches through state after state of breeder to find the right and perfect horses for the herd, while my mom, Rachel, takes care of all the basic paperwork with sales and registration...as well as giving directions to our farm, since I'm not good with directions at all. There are a total of 3 miniatures in our herd currently, out of which 2 registered broodmares, and 1 registered show winner stallion plan to stay permanantly. This means that we'll ALWAYS be selling the 1-2 foals we have each year so that we can continue to only have 3 horses on the farm to make room for the next year's foals and to keep the horses from becoming crowded and uncomfortable. Unlike some farms that have 20 or more horses that are brought in from pasture once or twice a month or when necessary, our few horses allow us to spend more quality time with each individual horse on a daily basis,, especially on important matters such as human contact and constant socialization. They are also worked on with grooming, catching and haltering, clipping, leading, hoof trims, and anything else common as well as uncommon, including barking dogs, blowing tarps, and unfamilar people. All horses are up to date on vaccinations, wormings, and hoof trims. WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN GIVING THE WEST NILES VACCINATION. If you want reasons, visit this website: http://lost-foals-group.4t.com/index.html Grooming of our horses includes cleaning out of the hooves, mane and tail getting combed and trimmed up with clippers, rubbing over of the ears and face that are considered the sensitive areas, and the basic body brushing. All horses are also fully body clipped when the weather starts to get warm, including those touchy areas, and on a routine basis are their halter paths clipped as well. With all the attention and care being given to each horse, including new foals, our horses end up with sweet disposition and excellent health, all of which are people friendly, halter and lead broke, and registered with either AMHA, AMHR, or both, making for excellent breeding stock, family pets, or show winners that people are looking for. Quality and NOT quantity has always been a first priority here at Majestic Springs, and we intend to keep it that way. If after reading this, you need or want more information on or about our horses or farm, please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I'd be glad to answer any of your questions. A phone number is not, and will not, be listed. If you want a phone number, you will have to email us first. Thank you for taking the time to read this important information! |
