Dave says "Uncle Remus music is all about fun.  I'm not trying to be the fastest or greatest guitarist out there.  I'm not trying to impress people with musicianship or technical skills.  I'm not seeking fame and fortune.  I just love to entertain.  That's what I have in mind when I create music: fun and entertainment, music and lyrics that will hopefully make people smile."

Posting Uncle Remus music online has opened other creative doors for Dave.  He has collaborated with other musicians from all over, thanks to the internet.  "Collaborating with musicians online has really helped me to take music to a higher level." says Dave "The great thing about the internet music scene is you can find a wide array of like-minded musicians to jam with. Everyone of the people I've collaborated with online are outstanding musicians, great people and good friends. It's like a brotherhood. Working with these mindblowing musicians has inspired me to push myself to reach peaks in music that I never imagined I'd reach and I'm having a blast doing it."

Dave has been involved with the following side projects, in addition to creating Uncle Remus music: He helped to form the collaborative project "Net Jam" with Skydog (Steve Andrest). Net Jam is a community with a focus on creating explorative jam music through spontaneous communication via online collaboration. Net Jam's latest project "Livengrin" is an acoustic song.  Dave wrote the music and Michael McCrickard, Steve Andrest and Dave Seidner wrote the lyrics.  The impressive list of players on Livengrin are: Skip Moore - guitar and vocals, Steve Andrest guitar and piano, Michael McCrickard - vocals, "Steev" Schrieber - guitar, "Burnin" Vernon Miller - vocals, Danny Berk - Drums and Dave Seidner on guitar.  Dave has also collaborated several times with Steev, including "Mean Streets" -  a collaboration of massive proportions.  Dave contributed some session guitar work for Ice Mac Sea (Michael McCrickard) on the song "Perfect Man" for his new CD "Measure for Measure". Dave also performed in the online collaborative Rock Opera: "Timmy The Headless Boy" written by The Canadian Studmuffin (Larry Graves) and performed by over 30 artists.

"The last few years have been amazing." says Dave "Meeting these great people, creating my own music and collaborating with these truly incredible musicians has been fun beyond my imagination.  This is just the tip of the iceberg.  I'll be writing and creating new music and partaking in the online music scene for the rest of my days.  I'm hooked!"
