hey kiddos, well I kinda got a semi rude guestbook comment and I just wanted to explain how this page came about and a little about me, for all of you wondering. NO, I am not a weird girl who wastes all of her time making a fanpage. I, on the other hand, go to school here at Texas A&M University. I will be graduating in August (keep fingers crossed) with a Bachelor of Sience in Psychology. I am pretty involved here, participating in campus activities such as Fish Camp and Howdy Ags, to name a few. So yeah, I am a big computer dork and I do waste my time building websites for fun. Hopefully when I get around to finding more time, I'll teach myself more than just html. So, yeah. I started this as a joke, because of the firewall at campus I could not send the pictures from the Mary-Jane's concert to Derrick. So, I was gonna post them on my website, but I didnt have enough space, so there was the birth of remotejunkiefan site. yes. thats exactly how it went down. i put the pics up and played with it a bit and added a font and a color scheme. I realized that people were actually hitting it so then I decided to make it my next project and to actually put some effort in it and get it started up, hoping that it would draw a bigger fanbase to the Junkies. and there you go..the whole reason this website is up. plus the fact that it makes dear Brian feel "cool". =)

So, I went to the show tonight in Humble and the boys did terriffic. I should have some pictures posted from tonight soon. Hopefully, I'll have a large amount to pick from to post. I am getting copies from Mrs. Wade and some pics from a random dude who happened to have a digital camera. So yeah- rock. \m/ sorry, I havent been real frequent with updates but I have been a bit busy.
I didn't get to go to the show at Fitzgerlds or the one in Santa Fe but I heard they were awesome, with the exception for the drunk guy trying to pick a fight at the Fitz show.
The Compelation CD is out and it rocks. Pick one up. If you really want one, well see what I can do, or you can hound the boys yourself on their website. but send me an email or post a msg on the board and like I said, I'll see what I can do.
Anyway, the show tonight was great. Hope you all could make it. The boys aren't preforming untill January if I am correct. I'm trying to get them to come play on campus here at A&M during Howdy Week. I've talked to the band and they aren't too sure if they can do it but, would love to. So...hopefully we'll get them down here for that!!!

So, I promise you guys more will come of this webpage. Im currently working on the biopage, I sent the junkies a email and I talked to Brian so, I will get the page up and working as soon as i get the info. =) anyway, Im also hoping for some more pictures and a message board for all of you to post messages up and talk to other fans. So I can get feedback and news and hopefully get a meeting board up before they go back on tour, this summer. Hum, I feel as if the only people who visit this page are me and the band itself. I would love to get feedback on the page and what you guys want..so please feel free to email me or post on the guestbook. Also, Brian told me that the label should be getting their 22 track Compelation CD soon. This comp. cd has bands they are helping promote and are likely bands youll see signed to the label. I am not too sure, but I *think* you can get one for $3.00, when they arrive. I will have more info on this when I talk to the boys. Anyway, thats all I have for today. btw, I have a joke for you kids. What do you get when you cross a monkey with a helicopter? A munkacopter. Yes, thats right, a munkacopter, the name of Craig and Brians label. So more of a reason to go to next weekends shows....support our boys.
So I got the dish on the comp cds. Brian is working on the munkacopter site and I'll post the URL as soon he gets his stuff together. There will be a place for you to order the comp. cd on there.

Hi, my name is Meg. For all of you that don't know, The Remote Jukies are a band formed out of Sante Fe, Texas. The line up goes like this, Craig Wade as singer and front man, Brian DeLaney on the lead guitar (he doesnt like it when you say lead), Derrick Abney on the drums, Andrew Best playin a mean guitar, and Tom, err, I mean Wes..ummm..well Wesley Wayne Owen on bass. The kids have gone through alot of changes but they still seem to keep a great pop punk sound. The songs are catchy and you can't help but sing along. Anyway, just a little background information for all of those who don't know the band. But I totally suggest on checking out their Home Site. As you can tell, I defiently love each and every one of these kids. =) You guys rock my balls off and you know it. teehee. Below is my first interview with good ole Craig. Did you know "Craig
" rhymes with "Meg"?!?! I did not! Craig informed me of this tonight when he called. (note sarcasm)
