Case Updates For Sueann Ray
Tuesday, May 22, 2007 - Quinton Ray is sentenced to two life sentences in a plea deal to avoid the upcoming trial where he may be face the death penalty. This day, District Attorney, Joe Hendricks, Jr. reads the wire tap transcript from an confidential undercover GBI informant who spoke with Quinton Ray as he detailed how he planned Sueann's murder for months before he finally killed her. On this same day, Harrold D. Ray pled Guilty to his charges regarding to aiding his son Quinton Ray in concealing Sueann's disappearance and murder. Harrold Ray will be on probation for five years and will be forced to do community service. See related article: HERE

March 31, 2006 - Harrold Danny Ray appeared before a Pickens Co. judge and entered a plea of not guilty for aiding in the disposal of Sueann on August 26, 2005. Quinton Ray, his son, was informed that the State of Georgia would be seeking the death penalty. March 3, 2006 - Friends & family gathered @ the Woodstock Baptist Church in Woodstock, GA for Sueann Ray's funeral.

Feb. 22, 2006 - Prior to a hearing that was set at the Pickens Co. Court , family and friends  visted the location where Sueann was found. At the hearing today, the gag order was not put in place, and bond was set @ $60,000 for Harold D. Ray. Sueann will be given a proper burial on Friday, March 3, 2006. Feb. 20, 2006 - Harold D. Ray (father of accused killer, Quinton Ray)  was indicted on charges of concealing a death, tampering with evidence, and hindering the apprehension of a criminal. It is believed that Danny Ray assisted his son in the disposal of Sueann Ray the night she vanished. - Related Article -     
Feb. 9, 2006 - Quinton Ray goes before a Pickens County judge. When asked if he understood the charges against him, he replied "Yes, Ma�am". He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 22nd. Sueann Ray's autopsy is still being conducted with GBI's crime lab. RELATED ARTICLE
