| REMEMBER CARS: MY 7 PET PEEVES IN DIECAST COLLECTING |

1.� I hate it when the actual Car Make, Model, and Year are not printed on the bottom of the diecast model. 2.� I hate it when a car is wired so tightly into the packaging that I have to unwind wire ties for 20 minutes to liberate the car! 3.� I hate it when I pay a premium price for a car that is covered with corporate logos.� (If McDonalds is gonna pay to have their logo on the car, why isn't the car sold at McDonalds for $2.99 with a happy meal?) 4. I hate it when I can't find variety at the store.� (It seems like I can buy 200 different modern 1:64 NASCAR replicas at a discount store, but can't find an Alfa Romeo Spyder anywhere.) 5. I hate it when I find fit, finish, or paint flaws after I've opened the package! 6. I hate it when doors and hoods aren't made to open.� (If the model costs more than $3 then something should open!) 7. I hate plastic car bodies!� (Plastic bottoms are bad enough!) |
