1.� This is all just for fun! 2.� Open the packaging and roll it!� (Important Caveat:� Unless you know that it is a known rarity or high dollar model worth hundreds or thousands of dollars!) 3.� Replicas of real cars are preferred!� (I just like realistic cars, movie cars, and hot rods within the realm of possibility.) 4. Car models should be priced reasonably! (Car payments are reserved for our real cars.) 5. Car models should ignite the imagination! (Our collectibles should evoke images, fantasies, and memories of the real cars!) 6. Cars models should feel good!� (They should have metal, heft, weight, and substance!) 7. My collection should feature of diverse selection to show the evolution of the automobile, the history of manufacturers, the car culture, and possible future evolutions of cars. 8. My car models should be obtainable at regular stores that we frequent during our day to day activities. 9. Quality is important!� (I like to see good paint jobs, cool details, and nice fit and finish.) 10. Extras are neat! (I like for cars to have some combination of a plastic display case, a display stand, a trading card, and information about the heritage, history, or Hollywood connection.) |
