For the feminine, �Lilith,� first wife of Adam, the Empowered Witch, Neumann's "Terrible Mother,� must be reformed, included and made collectively conscious. Like the masculine, the feminine also is harrowing her personal and collective hells. In Fight Club she is brilliantly played by Helena Bonham Carter, the soror mystica of Jack, the film's protagonist. America and the West have now included and empowered her, but she has not yet been reformed and made conscious. The beginnings of bringing her to awareness appear also, for example, in the film The Blair Witch Project, as America at last collectively becomes cognizant that the maternal has an occult, malicious aspect.

At spur of the �Blair Witch,� the bogus, lifeless paternal is obliged to reform or perish, and the culture then must include the final outcast, the �negative masculine� or daemonic.

Satanael�s dilemma is exactly inverse to the negative feminine. While he has been made collectively conscious � the film The Exorcist is an example of how this is accomplished, as well as the widespread demonization of masculinity culture-wide � he yet remains excluded from material manifestation. The sol niger is not allowed to rise to the surface of either the Earth or human collective consciousness. First he must be fully spiritualized, and that is the task of Michael's descent. Although we are now well aware of the sol niger, we refuse to accept him, preferring instead to deny and incarcerate his attributes and manifestations.

Humans, of course, would rather not undergo any of this psycho-spiritual surgery. Who would? We�re not talking here about the counterfeit �inclusion� of the political Left. We�re talking about real inclusion, the kind that hurts -- forgiveness and acceptance of the most disgusting, uncomfortable, hidden aspects of the collective male and female. It is a painful process, and it destroys our hugee-blankee assumptions of our own �goodness� and �correctness,� our moral certitudes and superiorities.

But it will be done, and if we all have to be dragged through Hell kicking and screaming to accomplish it, be assured that can be arranged. Over and over again.

Our path to redemption is the path through fire. It is not for the timid. Only the greatest of nations, the greatest of people, can accomplish it. The road of recollectivization passes over the Styx, the immortal river, and leads through the Land of the Dead, the Realm of the Mothers, and into the heart of the inner spirit, the sol niger and his Dark Queen. This is the path that blessed, plague-ridden, half-mad America now dares to tread.

In the Western world, during the final decades of the second millennia, Genderwar took a decidedly radical turn, extreme even by the standards of the opposites, which routinely produce a variety of geniuses and monsters, often in the same entity. Genderwar burst out of the containers of culture and love, and entered a stage of intensity, hatred and unconsciousness not seen since the original schism, when light broke from darkness, sun from moon, good from evil, masculinity from the matriarchate. During the final decades of the second millennium Ur-War erupted with terrible vigor.

In these tender years of the new Millennium, the smoke has cleared and the damage can be assessed. Women won the Battle of the Sexes, hands down. America is a feminist society, and becomes more gynocentric every day. Some of women�s power has become obvious, though most of it remains occluded, operating unconsciously. The Battle of the Sexes ended with the second Millennium.

But Genderwar � the Ur-War of humanity � has by no means resolved with the victory of the neo-matriarchate. For masculinity is now annihilated, and men are alienated from their own natures. Into this void descends what Rudolph Steiner called �Michael Consciousness,� which I suspect refers to a collective, rather than individual, entity or energy. �Michael�s� meeting with the ouroboric dragon, with the primal energies of masculine and feminine, the sol niger and Dark Lady, catalyzes the transformation of the masculine. From this harrowing of hell rises homo noeticus, Wotan, the filius macrocosmi, Adam Anew, who then carries authority to overthrow the Toxic King and Empowered Witch, fill the Grail chalice, barf out the Stone, join the opposites, and heal the Wasteland.

Okay, I know it all sounds a bit much. It is a bit much, and more. Let history -- or its lack -- then be judge.

America is currently the queendom of the Professionally Oppressed, with each special interest and identity group vying for the title -- and rewards -- of Chief Victim. Those who keep faith with the larger issues of the planet, and don�t play the hate games of dying duality will be rewarded: �And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold/But he that shall endure until the end, the same shall be saved.� (Matthew 24:10, 12-13)

These sentiments are mirrored in Zechariah 11:14, after Grace, the first staff, is destroyed: �Then I broke my second staff Union, annulling the brotherhood�.� In the Biblical scenario, after these staffs are broken, the new Sanhedrin, or priesthood, is assembled, and the Kingdom of God is removed from Judah and bestowed on a nation demonstrating the fruits of the Kingdom. I would term these �Sanhedrin� the now-assembling Brother, the filius quadrivium. Beside him, the Sister of humanity is also composing herself.
