Another must is plenty of the brightly colored fresh fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants. There are many wonderful and delious foods to choose from; here are some of my favotites. SOME BEST FOOD CHOICES Salmon (fresh or canned) Extra virgin olive oil 8-10 glasses of pure bottled water Dark green leafy lettuce (dressed with extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon) Fresh lemons Fresh berries: blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries Non-instant old fashioned oatmeal Turkey or chicken breast Fish and shellfish Tomatoes Citrus fruits Cauliflower Eggplant Green beans Pears Cabbage Broccoli Asparagus Fresh and dried beans Avocado Summer squash Green and red peppers Cherries Low-fat cottage cheese Yogurt |
