| Here is a picture of our visit to a nearby Dutch village. The lake that you see to the side is a manmade lake! It's really amazing how the Dutch have reclaimed land and even made lakes. It's so beautiful there. This lake is really big and one would never imagine that it's manmade. We had lunch from a restaurant on the beach where they had a fish buffet. All fish were caught from this manmade lake. |

| From Holland, we also took the opportunity to visit Belgium.It's only a 2 hour trip by road. This picture was shot in Anwerp in front of an old fort. The statute you see on the right, according to legend is that of a huge giant who used to block the entry to Antwerp, unless he was given good to eat. For those who did not give him food, he would eat the person. BEWARE!!! |
