| We are at the most famous point in Berlin. Checkpoint Charlie was one of the most notorious entry points between East & West Berlin at the time of the Old Berlin Wall. The entry from East to West was guarded by Russian soldiers and from West to East by US soldiers. We are standing at the entry from West to East. Background is what was then East Berlin. |
