For the Karlsruhe district (KVV), the Rhein-Neckar district (VRN), and the Donau-Iller district (DING), it is valid for the part of the district within B-W, as well as on certain stretches outside of B-W, such as from Karlsruhe down the left bank of the Rhein to Mannheim via W�rth, Germersheim, and Lugwigshafen. The ticket is also valid from Kressbronn or Wangen into Lindau.

The VRN tariff district is divided into a multitude of honeycomb cells. The price level (Preisstufe) of your ticket depends on how many cells you pass through. A trip from Kaiserslautern to Mannheim is Preisstufe 4. Day tickets, Ticket 24 (1 pers) or Ticket 24 Plus (2 - 5), are valid for 24 hours from time of cancellation. On weekends, they are valid trom time of cancellation on Sat or Sun until 3 AM the next following workday.

KVV is divided into zones (see map). Fares are according to zones passed through. The central area counts as two zones, except only one zone for trips originating at the Hbf and going to Ettlingen, Albtal, and Malsch. Day tickets, CityKarte (1 pers) or CityKarte plus, are valid in Karlsruhe and Baden-Baden for 24 hours from the time of cancellation. There are also day tickets for an expanded area including Pforzheim and Freudenstadt.
