A Reiki
Treatment
Reiki is not a massage. A treatment session is done with the client fully dressed in loose, comfortable clothing. Reiki can be done anywhere it is needed. When you go to the therapist, your treatment will be done on a treatment table or a recliner chair.

In a quiet, relaxation atmosphere, the Therapist will place her hands on (or above) your head, shoulders, stomach, back, and limbs. All of your organs and major energy points are covered during a treatment. Most of the treatment is just a gentle laying on of her hands, but the treatment may also include rubbing, tapping, or kneading.

Reiki teachings say that the energy will flow through the practitioner but not from the practitioner to you. You will receive the amount of energy you need to bring your body and mind into balance.

Individual's experience the treatment session in various ways. Some individuals feel a warmth, others may feel a tingling or vibrating sensation. Most individuals experience a deep relaxation and many go to sleep during a treatment.

Results can be dramatic with the relief of acute pain or more subtle with the Client reporting feeling little during the treatment, but afterwards enjoying a sense of calm and well-being. Many report a gradual improvement over the next 24 to 72 hours.

Reiki promotes good health by helping the body heal itself, it is a comfortable and pleasurable treatment, in which clients experience being cared for and nurtured.
