1) The game referees have final say! We, the overworked and underpaid folks who strive to make this game fun, have to have some control over events. Otherwise, there's just no way to control a bunch of folks who go around kicking the crap out of each other! Imagine the fights that'd break out... "Well, I did THIS to your character!" "No you didn't, I did THAT before you did what you say you did!"
This sort of thing degenerates, eventually, into name-calling and other childish behavior. So, in the interests of keeping the game fair and fun, we have to put our feet down once-in-a-while. Don't automatically think we're singling anyone out, we usually have good reasons for the things we do.
2) You must submit a character BEFORE you initiate any gameplay. You can post all you want in the chitchat areas, but the RP forum is STRICTLY for people who are participating in the RP. Character submissions include: character name and possible nick-names, appearance, personality, fighting style and techniques, and all weaknesses the character has. (Point of Note: EVERYBODY has a weakness, even our beloved "Lone Wolf". They're not a bad thing, necessarily...)
3) Do NOT take liberties with someone else's character. There's just something about speaking for someone else or doing something with someone else's character that's just unfair. Give that person a chance to speak and do for themselves.
4) NO HENTAI!!! "Hentai" - translated as "pervert". It's the common reference to any explicit sexual themes in anime. This is a role-playing game, and there's no place for explicit adult content in the forum. Any posts that contain hentai material will be deleted and the poster banned from the board for a week on the first offense, a month for the second offense, and PERMANENTLY on the third.
We will NOT back down on this! No questions!
5) There will be NO flaming on the board. Flamers will be treated similarly to hentais. Flaming is, in fact, less tolerable in comparison to hentai posts in my eyes. Insulting another person who plays on the board just for spite will be treated severely!
6) This last rule is about the Referees. Most everyone knows we have Yahoo! Messenger. We'll, a lot of times, when we're online together, a lot of folks inundate us with IMs (Instant Messages). We've all now set up so that if the status box says "Referee Conference - Do Not Disturb", that means we're all getting things together for the game. Please - do NOT IM us during this time.
Failure to comply with this will result in us referees maintaining a SEVERELY low profile and you'll have to then contact us by e-mail.
