Springer - Burnette Josiah Springer was born about 1809 in Tennessee. Racheal E. Burnett was born March 11th 1811 in North Carolina. Josiah and Racheal were probably married in Tennesse around 1830. She later married a Vest then an Arnett. She died on December 16th 1887 in Ward 1 of Huntsville, Alabama of pneumonia. Margarent M. Springer was born about 1833 also in Tennesse. She married Samuel Vest in July of 1851. She died sometime before November of 1880. Harriet Springer was born about 1834 in Tennessee. According to census records this was the last child born in Tennesse. Between the birth of Harriet in 1834 and the Birth of Andrew in 1837 the family moved to Alabama in Madison County near Triana. Andrew Houston Springer was born about 1837 in Alabama. James Polk was born about 1840 in Alabama. He was never married and never had any children. He died Oct 10th 1872 at residence of Josiah Springer (his father) near Triana. Mariel L. was born about 1842 in Alabama. I wonder if this might be the same persona as Mary Lavinia. They were born in the same year and have very similar first names and the same middle initial. Mary Lavania Springer was born about 1842 in Alabama. She married Patrick H. Boone on April 16th 1856. After his death she married Jessie C. Vann on March 8th 1871 she died between 1870 and 1880. William J. was born about 1847 in Alabama. Sameul L. was born in 1849 in Alabama Robert D. was born about 1850 in Alabama, he probably died young because there is no other record on it. Catherine was born about 1853. She married Joseph E. Walker on September 22nd 1870. Racheal died 12 oct 1861 typhoid fever. Josiah died December 14th 1880 at his residence, 8 miles from Huntsville in Pond Beat, Madison County, Alabama.
