Mihoshi Hello! My name is Mihoshi and I lloooovee music! Me and Kiyone go to karaoke bars all the time and sing the night away. Well, Naishinnou Kakyuu has asked me to do some reviews for some songs she has on her MP3 list. I feel so honored to be asked! I mean, she asked me of all people! *giggles* I'm not very good at this reviewing stuff, I have to admit that much. Uh oh! Kiyone is yelling at me to do the reviews now. Oh I'll start on them after I eat something. I'm STARVING!

KiyoneMIHOSHI!

Artist: Suzuki Ami
Song: Be Together
Album: Be Together (Single)
Released Date: July 14, 1999
Mihoshi's Rating: 10/10

Review:
"Be together, be together!" Just by listening to the first few seconds of the song you can easily tell that the tempo is upbeat and happy. After a few verses of "be together" and "shake my soul", Ami starts to sing in a soft, melodic, and joyful voice. The chorus is uplifting and easy to sing along to. Perhaps if I knew the what all the lyrics meant, I would understand why they say "shake my soul." After the chorus Ami begins to sing softly again, and followed up by another chorus. The song tones down a bit, allowing a few keyboard sounds and guitar to play and the drums to be heard. Following it is a few verses of "shake my soul" and followed by the last chorus. I personally love the last chorus because Ami let's out her voice, singing the notes longer. The ending is wonderful and leaves you with a smile. I give the song a 10 out of 10.

Anime: Dragonball Z
Artist: Kageyama Hironobu
Song: Spirit vs Spirit
Mihoshi's Rating: 10/10

Review:
Some call it Soul vs Soul, demon vs demon, but I've always known it to be Spirit vs Spirit. The song is played during the cell saga when Gohan first turns SSJ2. Unfortunately, most American fans did not get the chance to experience this mysterious song when it was dubbed over. In place of the song they had Gohan talking in his mind with stupid background music. Well, that's dubbers for you. The song starts out with a woman singing slowly, then the beat lifts a bit with some drumming and faster pace singing. Then the keyboards start to play a mysterious, almost hypnotizing melody with Kageyama Hironobu singing. I love his voice. The drumming and the keyboards become not so noticeable after the first minute when he starts to sing more smoothly. The chorus comes around with the woman and Kageyama singing "Whoa-oh-oh." The Chorus is upbeat and less mysterious. After the chorus the woman begins to sing for a few seconds before the mysterious melody returns again. The Chorus repeats again with different lyrics then is followed by a ten to thirty second period of keyboard, drums and guitar. The first Chorus repeats twice and the song ends with the a drawn out melody. I gave the song 10 of 10 because it fits the scene so well when it's played in the episode.

Anime: Sorcerer Hunters
Artist: Megumi Hayashibara
Song: Until Strawberry Sherbet
Album: Enfluerage
Release Date: March 3rd, 1995
Mihoshi's Rating: 8/10

Review:
"I have Sherbet!" The song is so cute! Naturally the song is upbeat and poppy with a nice guitar solo half way through the song. Megumi switches back and forth between singing in her cute child-like voice, talking in the child-like voice, and then talking regularly. There are a lot of English words in the song. Whenever she would talk in her normal voice, it is usually in English, followed by the child-like voice quickly saying something in Japanese. The Chorus is cute as she sings in English. I like the song, but if you listen to it too often it gets a little annoying. 8 of 10 is what I gave the song.
