- Attends nearly every Silver Wings event
- Logged over 200 hours of community service last spring (5 times as many as any other member in the chapter)
- Actively works to get Silver Wings more involved in cadet activities in the detachment

"Melinda Gee is an amazing member, and an exemplary person. She is relatively new to Silver Wings but you would never know it. She always gives 110% and is completely devoted to Silver Wings and it does. Mr. Matt Dirksen

"Matt is someone you can truly count on. He joined the Lewis C Ellis, Jr. Chapter this past fall. Matt is the most dependable member of the chapter. He will always be where you ask him to be with no complaints. He is also willing to help with anything he possibly can. She has already helped to coordinate many socials and service projects. She created a continuity binder and already has big plans for the next year. - Jointly planned participation in Big Event at Texas A&M with AAS squadron
- Helped AAS plan and implement Fund for Food drive for JNP
- Aided AAS with planning and implementing trip to Austin to hand out food to the hungry
- Helped plan new member orientations
- Has come to nearly every meeting and been a part of all service pronjects, fundraisers, and joint relations efforts
