Kerry Wood --Pitcher

K as in Kerry. Kerry Wood tied the record for most strikeouts in a nine-inning game in only his fifth major league start when he fanned 20 Astros. He finsihed the season 13-6 with a 3.40 ERA and went all the way to the playoffs with the Cubs in 1998. After that he blew out his elbow, which made him miss the whole '99-season.
