Ernie Banks --Shortstop-First Base

Ernie Banks is "Mr. Cub". His 512 Homeruns are still the most by any Cubs player. He was elected NL MVP two years in a row, 1958 and 1959, and holds the record for best fielding average by a shortstop (.985) in 1959, a year in which the Cubs finished 5th in a league of 8 teams.
He is still one of the best and most popular players of Chicago. His saying "Let's play two" on a nice day, made him known to every sports fan in the country.
Below is a picture of him hitting his 500th homerun.
