Good luck to Peter and Nick when they head off to participate in the London Marathon - based on the training they have put in they should both do well.
Summer Run at Reepham 20 August 2006 - Well done to all those who participated in Sunday's run over 9 miles. We will try and get the results published ASAP and if there are any photos taken at Heydon, we will try and make them available also.... watch this space.

London Marathon .... well done to Greg with a fantastic time of 3 hours 41 minutes for London. Also well done to Tor who despite not having trained beyond about 15 miles managed a very worthwhile 4 hours 33 minutes.

Congratulations to Rachel on winning the third prize in her category at the Broadlands Half Marathon... a fantastic result.
The first race organised by Reepham Runners was held on Sunday 21 August 2005 at 10-00 a.m. Being 8.25 miles, the weather was overcast but not too hot for runners. Being the first time we have held this event, we obviously have a new course record so congratulations to Andrew Jones of the City of Norwich Athletics Club (CONAC) for setting the record at 46 minutes 40 seconds.
Second was Dan Merckel and third was Dominic Blake, both under 48 minutes.
Congratulations also to the first lady home, Claire Becker of Norwich Road Runners with a new record of 59 minutes 15 seconds. Second and third were Racheal Leathwood of the North Norfolk Beach Runners and Polly Wake of Norwich Road Runners.
9 mile race 20 August 2006....Entries will be by post, not on line. Don't forget the stamped addressed envelope. .... Please note that in 2006 the distance is 9.0 miles (last year 8.25) with some of the extra distance being along Marriott's Way (old railway line, not road).
