| He's played sax and/or flute in every record, and true - HE'S NEVER PERFORMED LEAD VOCALS ON ANY CHICAGO RECORDING! However, he does lend his pipes to a number of Chicago recordings as a background vocalist. The album credits don't break it down by song, though. Anyway, here are the CDs he lends his voice to: Chicago Transit Authority Chicago II Chicago VIII Chicago III Chicago X Chicago VII Chicago XIII Chicago XXI The following are his songwriting credits. Few, but mighty: Chicago II - "Better End Soon, 2nd Movement" (Co-written with R Lamm) Chicago III - "Free Country" (Co-written with R Lamm & T Kath) Chicago VII - "Aire" (co-written with J Pankow & D Seraphine) "Devil's Sweet" (co-written with D Seraphine) Chicago XIII - "Window Dreamin'" (co-written with L Loughnane) I'll bet you didn't know Walt could take a punch, did you? Check him out in the 1973 Robert Blake film "Electra Glide In Blue". |
