Fishpac must leave Humboldt
Former RWO champion Fishpac must leave Humboldt after losing a match
against Emotional Thunder in which the stipulation was the loser must
leave Humboldt.
Fishpac thought the match was
well in his grasp while he was tossing Emotional Thunder around like
a rag doll. Emotional Thunder came back though, and captured victory
from the hands of defeat with a little help from his friends.
RWO veterans Double H, Thug
Ramsey, and the Block all came down to ringside and distracted Fishpac
allowing Emotional Thunder to capture his fourth RWO title. Double H,
who came to ringside in his referee attire, counted the fall.
"Get your ass back to
Fullerton Vince," shouted Thunder after pinning Fishpac.
RWO fans thought Thunder's
friends coming to ringside was a bit underhanded, however they did nothing
that would have cost him the match.
Fishpac leaves the RWO after
a few short months in which he quickly rose to the top and defeated
Double H in a ladder match for the RWO title.
Newcomer Fishpac defeats Double
H to capture title
"Double H" Scott
Aponte thought he would have a walk in the park when he was challenged
to a ladder match by RWO newcomer Fishpac. He quickly found out the
match would be the most grueling of his career.
Fish quickly started to physically
dominate the match against Double H, however he didn't quickly seize
the opportunity to grab the gold. Double H nearly grabbed the gold on
several occasions, each time finding the belt, which was suspended 50
feet above the ring, just a little out of reach.
"I nearly had it,"
said Double H. "But how close you come doesn't mean squat when
the gold is on the line."
Double H, nearly had the match
won when he nailed Fishpac with a ladder and then came within a hair's
width of grabbing the gold, but it was not to be as Fishpac found a
little burst of energy to push the ladder over and send Double H tumbling
50 feet to the ground. This allowed Fishpac to easily climb the ladder
and grab his first RWO title.
"I'm lucky to be alive,"
said Double H. "Fishpac is a good competitor, and he'll make a
fine RWO champion."
