As Black Hearts Break...This is Brian's band, based on the penninsula of California. Fuck, what can I say about these guys. They put on some of the best and funnest shows i've been to. Total metal/deathmetal/tech/grindcore...and all of the above.
Autumnize...These dudes are some hommies from Millbrae....."punk/alternative/hardcore jazz and mars-volta inspired afi/my chemical rooted energy with the love of making each song sound different from each other".
Avalise...thes guys are ALL from the great city we call Redwood. They are keeping the hardcore alive for sure. Fast guitar work, deep vocals, and maaaaaaad breakdowns.
Comadre...This is Kenny's band, based in San Carlos. A mix of classic screamo and classic rock n' roll with a horror/sinister twist. Make sure to bring you dancin' shoes to their shows.
Death and Glory...These kids fucking rule, based in the San Carlos area. They rip up on some DARK metalcore. They have been around for a while now and have just released a new EP, check it out. Some awesome dudes too.
Death Spares Not The Tiger...These are the new kids on the block, but definetly don't sound like it. It's like some of the best kids i know got together and started an amazing band. DSNT will GRIND you up all night and destroy you with some amazing breakdowns.
Ederus...These dudes are good people. To tell ya the truth, i have no idea how they sound like, but they sure as hell are nice kids. (ps, put some damn MP3s up!!!)
Epilogue...From the East Bay/Fremont area. This shit is some dancy-ass tunes. They have a pretty post-hardcore vibe for sure. Some fast guitar work, skrechy (in a very good way) and powerful vocals. For fans of Hot Cross.
the Hollowing...These dudes come from all over the Yea-Area. Very intense, death metal-ish type stuff. Very good, bringing the slow-hugs and head-bangs for sure as well as some really upbeat tunes too.
the Hot Wax...No one knows how to dance and have a good time better than these 3 fellaz. Pretty much, it's booty-shakin' with some really funky/electronic and spacy beats the whole 20min set. So get on it motha fuck!
Kinda Like A Fest: part 1...May, 21st 2005...I threw together one of the BEST shows i've ever been to in my life. It was incredibly fun; all the bands RULED; all the food RULED; all the people had an AMAZING time. I loved it...amazing...can't wait for part 2.
Latham...These dudes are from San Francisco. Some of them used to rock out in Atriata, now they are making some ammmmmaazing music in this band. Old school screamo at it's finest, some really good tech guitar work and the vocals are very oldschool (in a really good way).
Light This City...Based from Burlingame area, these guys and gal are coming up FAST. Really awesome metalcore, fast beats and killer vocals that will keep ya on your feet.
Love, Hope, and Fear...From the Burlingame/San Mateo area. This band has been rockin' for a while. I know them, you know them, we all know them. Awesome hardcore...fuck yes to my boy Aleeeeeeeex!
Right On...From all over the Bay Area. My boy Dante's new pride. These guys are fuckin' straight-to-da-point, east-coast hardcore. Very old school tunes, check 'em out.
Salo...Based from the San Mateo area. They are some insane dudes, think...if dillinger escape plan and coalese were thrown in a blender with 2342343 graphing calculators. Really good shit, plus the guys are funny as HELL!
xSharkxPunchx...so if you have not heard this band yet...damn, that sucks.
Standing on a Floor of Bodies xxx...fuckin a. These dudes (i think they are only two of them in the band?) are crazy. Another one of Alex's projects, this duo is bringing the very electronic/grind/weird sound for sure. check em out.
Taco Bell...as founders of RWCHC, Kenny and I would like to say "FUCK YOU, we can link whatever we want!" With that said, Taco Bell is rad.
With Eyes Like Static...These guys are fucking AMAZING. goddamn, from SF and Santa Rosa areas, these motha fuckaz will bring the jam to ANY show! With some of the nicest guitar rifts I have ever heard, and some of the funniest dudes EVER, you'll def be seeing a lot of wels.
