 The Red Wings had won the Stanley Cup, so the party started. After a turn of events, the die hard Wings fans. The night of a party, Vladimir Konstantinov a physical defenseman, Sergei Manostankonov a massager, and Sergei Fetisov a defenseman, were in a limo in Detroit when that limo crashed into a tree. Fetisov was uninjured, as was the driver. Unfortunately, Manostankonov and Konstantinov suffered severe head injuries. This threw a wrench into the celbration because a teammate is hurt, seriously. The season started, and Konstantinov would not be rejoining the Wings. Actually, it would be a miracle if he could walk. So the Red Wings played the season for their fallen comrades. So each player remembered the two men by wearing believe patches. This year, the Cup would be won for Vladdy and Sergei. when the captian raises the Cup, he hands it so all his teammates carry it around, and the person that it is first handed to is a special person to the team. The person that Stevie Y handed the Cup to was Vladdy, confined to a wheel chair. Once again, for the second time in a row, all the brothers gather around an injured friend for a photo.
