| • A large plastic box at least 6 inches deep (40 quart or 10 gallon size) |
| • Wire hardware cloth cut 4 inches larger than box in both width and length |
| • Brown paper and a polyurethane filter (air conditioner type) cut to fit inside box |
| • Fresh bedding (coir coconut fiber, peat moss, or shredded newspaper), soaked and drained |
| • 250 red wiggler worms (Eisenia fetida), about 2 pints from a bait shop |
