HMS Richmond Royal Navy HMS Richmond is the tenth of the Type 23 Duke Class Anti Submarine Warfare Frigates in service with the Royal Navy and the eighth warship to bear the name. Based in Portsmouth when in the UK, the Ship has completed deployments to the Far East, America, the South Atlantic and the Arabian Gulf. Her most recent deployment including participation in Operation TELIC, the campaign to remove Saddam Hussein's regime from Iraq. |
RFA Sir Tristram RFA Sir Tristram (L3505) is a Landing Ship Logistics (LSL) of the Round Table class.Launched in 1966, and accepted into British Army service in 1967. As with others of its class, it was taken over by the Royal Navy in 1970. The ship saw service in the Falklands War, and was badly damaged at Fitzroy on June 8. Following a major rebuild, Tristram
reentered active service in 1985, and has since seen service in the Gulf
War, and also against Iraq in 2003. |
