Welcome to the
Red Road Awareness Website!
Our mission:
To promote healing by educating the community about the damage racism causes Native Americans, as well as all people of color.
We feel Our Creator has put within us the tools necessary to make a difference:
A red heart and the level of commitment it will take to facilitate change.
Please join us as we fight racism in our community.

We held a gathering on January 22, 2007 and picketed in front of a radio
station,in full view of the DJ booth!
We then went a step further and held a rally on Feb. 3rd,
in downtown Louisville, KY. where Arvol Looking Horse planted a healing tree at Founder's Square.

The Red Road Awareness organization has grown in its short life of one month, to something bigger than we ever thought possible. We hope that through our efforts, we can bring awareness to the prejudice that is still so prevalent in our society and to facilitate a healing through that awareness,
for Native Americans everywhere.

To read how this all got started, following the link called "Clear Channel's Racist DJ" below. Visit the other link to see how you can get involved
and please sign the guestbook so we know you were here.
