Please read the following:
This is a transcript of a radio show that aired in Louisville, KY on Nov. 27, 2006. To read it is one thing, but to hear HOW she said these things is a whole other story. Once she really got going on her bashing of Native Americans, she was cut off at the knees by someone on the show handing her something about a story concerning a political matter.
The segment starts with her talking about how she looked up lessons on the internet for 3rd graders concerning teaching about Thanksgiving.  She says she asked some third graders and was told various things about what they learned and how. She says that the things she read and
heard were the way she would expect them to be taught about Thanksgiving. Then she slams her hand down, emphasizing every word of- Not. Like. This.
The following is a transcript of what she said next:

"A guy named Bill Morgan, whos a third grade teacher in California, walks into his third grade class, no lie, did this last week before the kids broke for Thanksgiving, walked in wearin' a black pilgrim hat, you know with the big buckle on the front, yea, and you can make it outta construction paper pretty easy, and starts walkin' around the room snatchin' kids pencils and backpacks and glue sticks sayin', 'These are all mine now cause I discovered them'. Excuse me? (long pause and then says angry and forcefully) Cause he wants to get the kids angry and wants their, the kids to want to get their things back. Why? Because he's tryin to teach them that that's really what happened at Thanksgiving, the pilgrims came into the country, you know, the horrible English, puritan, pilgrims on the Mayflower, the heck about, the heck with they came because they wanted to remain devout and have freedom of religion, they just came because they wanted to snatch and grab from all of the Indians. He says 'Its much more realistic. Kids need to stop their romanticized version of Thanksgiving'. Well, we know that the pilgrims and the Indians were getting along when they sat down and gave thanks. You know, I mean this is history we, we have a historical perspective to this and the bloody warfare really didn't break out until much later, in the 17th century. (long pause, you can tell she is reading from something as she goes along here) And some people say this is just sad. Some people say no, its very, its very important that kids don't get, that kids don't get, a, ah, distorted view of Thanksgiving.' And of course then they go to different uh tribes and some people say you know younger kids shouldn't be burned, with uh, with, excuse me, burdened, by all the uh gory details of American history, if you're gonna teach you need to keep it positive they're only third graders, they can they can learn more about the full picture as they get older, which I agree with, what is third grade, 8-9 years old? And then of course, there are the people from the National Congress of American Indians who say, (sarcastic) 'School children need an accurate historical picture. This stuff is not to be taken lightly. It wasn't happy for the Indians. Ya can't just throw an Indian costume on a child. (sighs) If there's a Thanksgiving pageant you shouldn't just put a kid in feathers.' One woman said 'I consi.., and she's, she's, uh, Native American, (making fun and mocking the Native American woman with her voice)'I consider Thanksgiving a day of mourning. A day of mourning.' So she went before the school board and said, (mocking tone)'I have a problem on Thanksgiving reenactments in class and students dressing up as Indians. It wasn't all warm and fuzzy. So you know what the school did? They didn't say, 'thank you very much for your opinion don't let the door hit you', (claps hands twice and speaks in lower, authorative tone) 'No more Thanksgiving reenactments!' (mocking tone) Cause one person, who's a nut case, had a problem. Ya know, c'mon, does everything that America has ever done, why? Why does everything America has ever done bother these people? If they hate America so much and want to apologize for everything that ever happened, that happened hundreds of years ago, you know what, just go to Canada and go bug the canucks, because I'm up to here with ya. Ya can't even have Thanksgiving in a third glade, grade classroom. You know George Will said over the weekend (snicker) he said, ya know it wasn't all jollies at thanksgiving. There wasn't excessive merriment, you know, half the passengers died, but there was a lot of gratitude between the few dozen English settlers and the hundreds of Native Americans that were there. But no, some people, and he walks around stealin stuff, cuz the pilgrims are all bad, yeah, bad, bad pilgrims. Please, please! Who's lettin' this guy get away with this crap that he's teaching kids? Now I know why people home school, I swear, what, oh man, I hate that there are teachers in there with such personal agendas that they have to hoist upon our kids and screw up there heads. And what did you just handle me? Is this bad news? Did you just give me bad news? Because I'm not gonna like you, Craig if you gave me, oh man!.... this is.....we're gonna be talking to these people. (pause) Apparently, um, there's word out of Frankfort this morning that uh, Ben Chandler is unlikely to run for governor and will announce this decision either today or tomorrow.....

Clearly, she was cut off at the knees by someone in the studio. During her tirade, she read, almost verbatim, from a story that ran on FOX and CNN's websites concerning this teacher and his Thanksgiving lesson. Only problem with her version is that she left out most of the facts and added her own racist twist to make Native Americans look bad.
