Sabine is not only a beautiful, beautiful girl, but a wonderful mother. We were astounded with her first litter. Good mothering is such an important trait as not every bitch has that natural instrict and when this instinct is missing or lacking, it is detrimental to the puppies as well as the kennel mother who then suffers many, many nights of sleep deprivation.
This young lady however was simply the best with eight evenly weighted, healthy, robust puppies in August of 2008. Our bitches are rested for at least 12 months, and usually 18 months, between litters. This is a good breeding practice for the health and well being of the bitch. |
