		Beastie Boys



			One of the most innovative, influencial, and Jewish rappers out there, the Beastie Boys have been spitting out classic albums since the release of Licensed to Ill in 1986. Made up of Mike Diamond(Mike D.), Adam Yauch(MCA), and Adam Horowitz(Adrock), these boys have been reinventing the world of jerkdom since LTI. The boys punk and hardcore roots are a huge influence on all their albums, but each one has it's own distinct vibe. But, the biggest suprise of their career is that they're still going strong.They started as dazed white boys screaming into the mic, with lyrics intended to offend, in the 80's, and somehow ended up as rap-rockin', laid back old schoolers in the 90's. Believe it or not, but MCA became a Buddhist, Mike D. doesn't wear leather jackets anymore, and Adrock became a feminist. All in the 1990's. Wow. Maybe these boys are becoming men.
