| On March 16th 2002 the welding restoration work on A33 TJN was finally complete.It had taken 6 months & consumed several new panels & a multitude of major & minor reconstruction work to floor, chassis, inner front wings, rear arches & sills. |

| I haven't detailed every single piece of welding done on A33 TJN but I hope I've given a good insight to what anyone can reasonably expect to find if they are hoping to do a similar project.The very nature of this cars history meant I had no choice but to restore what I was faced with.Anyone looking for an XR2 project normally would be advised to find as good a car as possible,but even "immaculate" cars are bound to be hiding some horrors.Just remember,"if it looks tatty on top it will be rotten underneath. |
