| The rear wheelarches on the majority of Mark 2 Fiestas are usually a crumbly rust mess these days.XR2 arches suffer more as they're hidden under the body kit & don't get repaired until serious corrosion occurs.These pictures show how the passenger rear arch of A33 TJN was repaired. |
| Repair sections are about �10.The inner arch here was mostly intact but the outer needed complete replacement |
| The front edge of the inner rear arch corrodes badly,usually taking the bottom edge of the sill with it........ |
| ....the sill has already been repalred so new metal was welded in to close up the rusted hole......................... |
| ...it was then coated in seam sealer & will be painted with anti-stone chip paint before the inner arches are painted body colour. |
