| December 19th 2002.The date on which I had owned C25 BEX for 10 years. In 1992 the Fiesta XR2 was a very common site on Britain's roads,even in mk1 form.But time is not kind to cars in this country (along with all the salt poured on the roads each winter) & today the remaining cars in everyday use are mostly in banger territory.In another 10 years the XR2 will be as rare as an escort mk1 (any model) is on the road today.Roll on 2012....... |
| These pictures portray C25 BEX as it was on December 19th 2002.Please note that the wheels & tyres are the winter "stand-ons" as prolonged standing will flat spot & ruin good tyres.The trims/caps though are brand new this year & will be used on the car once the steel rims have been refurbished. |

| So there we have it. 17 years old with 82382 miles behind it & in better condition than when it was new.A standard I intend to uphold....... |
