Project plays Jenna Mullin's Mystique Team in a 60
minute "friendly" battle of the carpet burns 3-14-01 at the
new CP Sports facility on Taft in Crown Pt. A cool place with a field
with no walls, just netting past the touch line. Really fast play
with no wall to backstop a pass. Two thirty minute halves. It was pretty physical. All of our guys have at least one nice red pizza on their elbow or knee. The final score does not really represent the level of the game. And, in all honesty, it is pretty tough to put much past Carlos The Keeper. He is the bomb, and he is really just nuts, juggling the ball right in front of their striker. Thanks Carlos, you keep us alive. We had a great time as the pictures show and hope we can come back and play again. The Mystique had their laser passing and velco receptions down. They are very skilled. They put instant pressure on us when we had the ball. No time at all was available when receiving. Thanks for having us. Have us back. |
