Here are two paintings with very different futures.  The larger one is doomed to the palette knife, which will smear a thick layer of black paint over the entire image.  I've already condemned it to be undertaken again on a much smaller canvas when I start painting with oils.  The wfigure took on odd proportions and the skin tones I want are beyond my skill.  The smaller one, however, is quite different from all my other paintings, & I'm curious as to how it will turn out.  've vowed not to give up on it.
I used to have a chest of drawers to hold my paints, brushes, palette, and so on.  I moved it into the guest bedroom recently in anticipation of a houseguest.
Now all I have is this cardboard box (sniff).
Below is a kind of bulletin board I put up to help me think over future projects.  Not many of these will actually get donw, if any, but they keep them from being forgotten immediately, anyway.  Click on the image to see a few of the things posted there.
