Silver Phoenix Circle One of many covens within Winnipeg, Manitoba. However vastly different from ordinary structured versions. In SPC, we do not have the heirarchy or matriarchy of High Priestess and High Priest. Everyone is considered equal. Everyone is considered a teacher, as we all bring different life experiences and talents and skills to each other. Just a matter of opening eyes, ears and hearts to the lessons. We follow a ballanced path, Goddess and God, and seek to achieve ballance in all we do, thus creating harmony within our lives.

Earth Spirit Festival In past years, we have always had a "Pagan Pride Day" within Winnipeg and Miami Manitoba. This last year, (2004) saw the gap that not having PPD in Winnipeg was like. The ladies that had put on the special day of education were unable to host this last year and years to come, and it was most unfortunate as we all missed the fun. However, I made a point of volunteering my time and effort to creating a fall festival for the next few years to come after I saw that no one was stepping up to the plate. I was tired of events getting cancelled and decided to take action in order to have an event for the fall of 2005. Voila! Earth Spirit Festival was born. With the help of the ladies that hosted PPD in the past, a few new eager volunteers, as well as PPD Miami team, we are well on the way to having an extremely fun, educational, and jam-packed harvest festival for 2005. Check out the Earth Spirit site, via the links page.

Canadian National Pagan Confrence, 2005, Edmonton, Alberta. Canada's First National Pagan Confrence, and I'm fortunate to be able to attend this year! This unique confrence is what is said to be, "an opportunity for Canadian Pagans to make in-person connections across this long ribbon of country, to get to k now each other, and to bring together our ideas and experiences." Kevin Marron, Donna Read, Shelly Rabinovitch , and Sian Ried are going to be present at the confrence as well~ with any luck, I will be able to meet them! For more information, see the CNPC's website.

Cauldron Soup Lately it has been brought up over and over again how hard it is to network with other pagans and witches within Winnipeg. There were constant battles and problems with "witch-wars" in the past anytime someone tried to get everyone together. Myself and another fellow Witch, Sarah Armstrong, were only getting our flames fanned when we heard this; thus, Cauldron Soup was born. Cauldron Soup is a discussion/ networking/coffee-tea night for all who would like to meet up with other folks to discuss Spiritual matters, without the overhead of "which coven is running it" or "who is in CHARGE". No one is in charge, unless things get out of hand, and then the person is asked to leave. Simple Kindergarten rules will apply. We all meet up on the second sunday of each month.. Need more details? email me...
