Review for Pokémon Stadium


THIS GAME SUCKS. Not an opinion, but a fact. It's graphics are okay, not what I'd call good though. The battle scene for the Pokémon, that;s one of the things that gets me peeved. First you hear this annoying announcer saying absolutley stupid phrases like "The Pokémon are of entirely different types!" Duh! That doesn't happen all the time or anything! Besides the announcer there's the annoying factor of how the Pokémon never come in contact with each other, thus making all attacks elemental and none physical. Gee, that doesn't just ruin it does it? To make matters worse, it has the exact same battle tactic as the gameboy, taking turns!!! Ugh. Of course there's a big reward waiting for you once you do everything in the game... A Psyduck with Amnesia! What?!!! That's all I get! What a rip! Of course along the way you get useless trophies and you can get Mewtwo, maybe Mew, (I forgot.)
Probably the only fun thing on this game is the minigames, which are a little too identical to Mario Party but are still fun. Don't waste your money on this game, buy Snap, or Hey You Pikachu, Gold and Silver, or anything!
