Super Mario Bros. 3 : 2nd Run

What is it?

Super Mario Bros 3 - 2nd Run is the latest of my "Level only" hacks. Building on what I have learned from my previous hack, SMB3-2R is in many ways even better then my first attempt. The same commitment has gone into this hack to make it a great game to play. I have invested even more time into this hack then my previous one, and it shows -- at least this is what many people who have tried it have told me. Give this a try, I don't believe you will be disappointed.

The current version sees the game complete up to World 8

How can I play

The game is distributed in a "patch" format. It is a text file with changes that have to be merged to the actual game rom itself. In order to play you will have to acquire a few things first.

-A NES emulator. You can download one at Zophar's Domain under NES emulators.

-Super Mario Bros 3 Rom. This you will have to acquire on your own.

-A utility to merge the patch into the rom. I have a simple one mirrored here. If you want you can also download a better one from Zophar's Domain
