Super Mario Bros 2 - 2nd Run was the first of my "Level only" hacks. Essentially, this hack was a learning experience as I learned how to hack game roms. The levels are designed simular to those you would find in the original, unaltered game. Creativity, fun and difficulty close to the original were important considerations as the game was redesigned. SMB-2R is Completed. |

The game is distributed in a "patch" format. It is a text file with changes that have to be merged to the actual game rom itself. In order to play you will have to acquire a few things first. -Super Mario Bros 2 Rom. This you will have to acquire on your own. -A utility to merge the patch into the rom.
