Corn Snakes are the ideal starter pet. They're easy to maintain, realitivy low priced, and are one of the most doclie pets around. From the novice owners to the advanced, corn snakes are one of the most kept snakes today. They are completely harmless. Do they bite? Well, they do have teeth, and like every animal they CAN bite. But it is not common. I don't know anyone that has been bit. I can assure you they're the tamest snake of all. Another plus is the colors. Soon, they'll be having a rainbow colored corn snake. Well, maybe not, but I know of over 50 different colors of corn snakes.
Now see corn snakes seem alright? Very hardy as well. So go to a pet store and let one of the staff take a corn snake out for you. You'll see the beauty of this animal.
