Once the head, cams, and valve train are cleaned and safely put away it's time to remove the head. Once removed then you can really tell how much care and maintaince was put into the engine, lets take a look below... |

The cylinder walls themselves look ok, no scuff marks, abrasions or scratches. Which indicates it was properly lubed. The top of the pistons tell a differenct story, oil was leaking down the valves. Usually thats easily fixed by replacing the o-rings. |

Gasket was at least in once piece but didn't look good. |

Serious deposits on #2 indicated by the brown like substance on the valves. coolant was leaking and started to build up rust on the exterior of the valves. Hopefull they are reuseable, we will inspect once the valves are pulled. |
