A lot of people probably think that religious persecution is a new idea, when in reality it isn't. Since the dwan of civilization, people have always had prejudices. Whether it was because somebody worshiped too may gods, or not enough, they were constantly being persecuted. Nobody has ever been totally safe. Because of the numerous religions in the world, it is impossible to learn about every one. Since this is true, many people suffer to what we call ignorance. This is the cause of so many problems in the world, including religious persecution. |
