| As a final 'Fuck you' to the record company after they refused to release this Billy Corgan gave this 25 song set of songs to 25 of his friends. They in turn uploaded it to the net where it can be downloaded for free. There is a good mix of stuff on here to satisfy any Smashing Pumpkins fan if you like the synth rock of 'Adore' of the heavy rock of 'Siamese Dream' or 'Gish' its all here. A mix of all kinds of music. Stand out tracks include 'Real Love', 'Innosence' and an early version of 'Try,Try, Try'. There are a few early versions of songs on here too as featured in demos such as the aforementioned 'Try, Try, Try' and 'Heavy Metal Machine'. It just goes to show that a band does not have to be money grabbing to be good. Best Bits: 'Try, try, try (Version I)', 'Innosense', 'Real Love' Grade: B+ Download from: www.machina2.cjb.net |
