As you can see, the system functions flawlessly on the Television.
The Goal:
To create a GBA-based handheld gaming system with a large backlit screen.
To make one large enough for an adult to hold comfortably.
To give it the ability to also connect to a television.
To create an external joystick port.
To allow use of Smart Media cards as secondary storage to cheaply store roms.
To include internal flash advance card as primary storage.

Included is one for a psone screen via rgb connection. psone screens are cheap, bright easy to use.
This gba psone monitor mod is okay, but the smartmedia mod allows roms to flash from card to FA.
neo geo controller hacking mod involves creating a new controller port.
This GBA functions as a console. gameboy roms are even more portable on my console than before hardware modification. using smartmedia flash and flash advance to store commercial is illegal unless you own a cartridge copy in the first place. we're just trying to lose our stack of cartridges here

You don't want nintendo to stop making games totally do you? public domain roms are free and legal.
This extreme hardware hacking is actually very easy for modders to do.
