| Short Blurb: This is a very cool RPG. It deals with mecha (giant robots) called Gears that you can ride in and pilot and stuff (similar to the mobile suits in Gundam Wing, the guy melefs in Vision of Escaflowne, and the Evas in Neon Genesis Evangelion--if that helps). It's kinda low budget, but there are CG scenes here and there and lots of scrumptious anime scenes. But really, it's worth getting, unless you don't believe in reincarnation. Disclaimer: Xenogears is not mine (which is too bad, since I love it so much), it belongs to the brilliant minds at Squaresoft (I love you, Squaresoft). All Krista-Lyns, Lyn-Kristas, the two Axyls, Circuit Breaker and Spark are mine. The Sentinel idea was cooked up by myself and my dear little sister, Lady Zephyr (whose own original characters are in here too--Analore/Kiree, Shia, and their Gears Viridian VI and Ange [French for angel]). Warnings: Uh . . . It's going to be really long. Spoilers!!, language, humor, serious violence, child abuse, NCS, semi-descriptive gore, the discussion of reincarnation and multiple-personalities, rather rampant OOC-ness, kissing, lime, probably implied lemon later, angst, mushy-ness, and as usual, anything else I forgot to mention (^_^). ~Lady Shinigami <--e-mail me! Last updated: 12/28/03 Xenogears: Secondary Contact Krista-Lyn was separated from her older brother when they were children. Years later, having more or less given up on ever seeing him again, she stumbles across him by chance. However, being reunited with him isn't exactly flowery bliss--he's in a lot of trouble and she finds herself being dragged along for the ride. It wouldn't matter to her--he's her brother and she'll stick by him--except that a past she would have rather forgotten is rising again. She thought she had escaped thirteen years ago, but it was only a temporary reprieve. He seems to get along with everyone and is kind, empathetic, skilled, and oddly wise, considering his apparent age. He also annihilates Gnosis with startling bare-handed ease, which is certainly nothing to sniff at, and had some involvement in the Miltian Conflict, but nobody knows more than that because he never really talks about himself. The truth is, he doesn't talk about himself because he doesn't know anything about himself. Worse, he doesn't know why he doesn't know. It used to bother him, but as the years passed and he got no closer to answers, he gave up in favor of enjoying what was in front of him. He has no way of knowing, but his world is about to be shaken. Status: Not Ready Yet Phase 0 Phase 1 <--Back |
