Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry

When a bunch of demons, zombies and other hell monsters decide to take over the world, who are you gonna call?  Dante, demon killer for hire!  Capcom unleashes Devil May Cry for the PS2.  DMC was hugely anticipated for many months before the release.  Its very much like Resident Evil, but instead of zombies and monsters coming after you, youre going after them! With a barrage of weapons,  super-human powers, and an ultra-hot sidekick, youre ready to save the world and annihilate anything that stands in your way.

The Pros

The Gameplay

DMC offers many new features that have rarely been seen in other games.  One of the most eye-catching is the combat.  With weapons such as guns, swords, and kinetic energy, it sounds like any other type of game.  But its what you can do with all these that is just awesome.  Once you learn all the controls and special moves, watching Dante in action is just plain cool.  DMC offers relatively easy controls and a decent story mixed in with intereseting dialogue and cut scenes.

The Graphics

The environments in DMC are absolutely stunning.  Capcom did a wonderful job designing the many surroundings down to the smallest detail.  Also, the character designs are amazing.  By far, Dante has to be one of the coolset characters in any video game.  With his arsenal of weapons, white hair, and dark red trench coat, just by looking at him you can tell that this guy is one bad  MOFO.
