| The Replay Value Even the though the game is rather short, I dont think anyone can get bored of this game. The battles are just too much fun. Sure, its a lot of button mashing and hack n slash, but once you master the controls, its like watching a crazy action movie. Many times, I found myself just toying with the enemies, just so I could wait for an opportunity to get a cool-looking kill. The Cons The Length As mentioned before, Devil May Cry is a short game, as are many Capcom Games. I was surprised when I beat the game, 6 days after I purchased it. If you run through it, you can finish in about 3-4 hours, which isnt fun at all. The shortness of the game brings the game down, but not a lot. I can understand that these type of games have to be short and probably wouldnt be as fun if they were longer. But I would have liked a little more effort. In The End DMC is truly an awesome game. Now, as I write this article, I kinda regret giving it up. But, Devil May Cry is now a Greatest Hits game, which means I can get a cool game for $20. And so can you! So if you dont already have this game, go get it now. You definitely will get your moneys worth. Devil May Cry gets a 9. P.S. Look for Devil May Cry 2, coming soon!!! |
