The Premise

The Centuries Saga is a universe created from the marriage of what began life as ideas for two stories.

The first idea was a science fiction story, set a thousand years in to the future during a war between the New British Empire and her enemies.

The second idea was fantasy, taking inspiration from many fantasy works, and was to include faeries, aents, aelves and dwarffes.

Eventually I amalgamated the two ideas, and wrote the attributes of the fantasy races in to the many creeds of man.

The universe grew.

The chronology spans some seven-thousand years, and the series will include an as-yet-undecided number of books, short stories and novellas.

The first book, but not nescessarily the first chronologically, is called The Crisis Of Faith, set in the year 4120 Common Imperial.

The Crisis Of Faith tells the story of the beginning of the Solar War.

Of how an entire race were ensalved whilst the slavemasters denied all.

Of how the people within and without the Empire realise they had been lied to for thousands of years.

Of what happens when a star-spanning people are confronted with the ultimate question.
