Leatherhead  1-1  AFC Wimbledon
AFC got a decent 1-1 draw with Leatherhead at Fetcham Grove. The Dons took the lead around the half hour mark when the ball wasn't cleared from the Leatherhead box and found its way to Kevin Cooper on the edge of the area who delightfully curled the ball round the keeper and into the top corner of the net. But midway through the second half Leatherhead equalised with a close range header from a corner. There were chances for both sides to take the victory but in the end the score stayed even. Overall a good performance by the Dons, but especially from Ray Merry who made many outstanding saves, including a one on one which he tipped round the post to keep Leatherhead at bay.
