Phantasm stuck his head over the bow of this ship, his many tails wagging with the thrill of the ship being tossed on the waves. He was an adult now but that wouldn't stop him from his free spirited fun. He listened to Nacase behind him, calling orders to ensure the safety of their old ship. A sudden wave caught the boat by surprise and and the boat lurched forward, many of Nacase's crew were flung into the dangerous waters. Phantasm's thrill was lost as he saw so many fed to the hungry waters. He turned and began to run towards Nacase to make sure the same didn't happen to his friend. Another wave hit and the boat moaned in protest of the attack. The boat rocked back and forth as it was thrown here and there by the vicious waves.
Phantasm had fallen but was back on his feet and stumbling woobily towards Nacase when another giant wave flung the boat one finaly time. It was tossed into an area of reef and the boat was torn open by the hull. Phantasm was flung from the boat as well and the last thing he heard was Nacase's worried shout. He hit something hard and yelped in pain as he slid into the water. He shook his head, refusing to die to the seas he'd loved so much. He slowly found the feeling in his paws and began a struggled paddle towards the shore.
As he was pulling himself up the bank he saw a lovely figure of an Egyptis running towards him. He wasn't exactly sure what was happening but he believed the lady Egyptis helped him to shore, for the last thing he saw...was her lovely face, then the darkness of unconciousness.
He didn't know how long he'd been unconcious but when he finally came into awareness he saw before him the lovely Egyptis that must have rescued him. His heart leapt when he saw her, for he knew he'd fallen in love. He wanted to dance but he was in a terrible amount of pain.
"You saved me?" Phantasm asked the Egyptis before him. She nodded and smiled a bit before motioning towards Nacase.
"Your captain as well, but I'm afraid the ship sank." He looked to Nacase and was relieved to see he was alright, but he had something far more important he had to say before he could return his attention to Nacase. He smiled at the Egyptan.
"My name is Phantasm, thank you for helping me."
"You're welcome, I'm Caran."
"Will you be my mate?" Phantasm blurted out for he knew that once he'd seen her, no other Egyptan would compare in his mind. He waited for the answer which seemed to take years to come when only it was seconds.
"Of course!"
And ever since then Caran and Phantasm have been inseperatable.
